A Few of my favorites...

I feel so blessed to have 2 photographers in our family-one from each side to help us capture some wonderful family pictures!!! Thank you Aunt Megan!!!!

Anniversary Adventure 2010

Brady and I celebrated our 5th Anniversary with our girls this year!!! We went to a Hotel in Salt Lake and had a great time!!! We went Swimming a couple times, went to dinner in Bountiful to Texas Roadhouse and just hung out!! The second day we did a little Christmas Shopping!! It was a nice little get away!!!

Kynna's first time to go swimming!!! She wasn't sold on the idea and it was a little chilly in the pool so she and I went upstairs kind of early and took a warm bath and got her dressed in warm clothes!!

Random pictures from November

These are a few pictures from November that I didn't blog about!! I've been a slacker!!
The first 4 are from our Preschool Thanksgiving Party!! Melissa made the kids cute hats and for part of school 2 days prior we made the place mats

The played toss the turkey
I made this little guy for part of our snack but he didn't stay together very long since I didn't put enough extra rice krispies to keep it a little harder and stay together!!!
MaKynna in the cute outfit my parents bought her. She can finally wear it!!
Every now and then I have these days where this girl is SO helpful!! This was one of them!! She wanted to wash dishes so I let her and put them in the dishwasher when she was done!!!
Candy Bear celebrated her first birthday!!!

She always has to have something in her mouth!!!
Fire Station field trip!!

Out-takes from Family Pictures

My sister-in-law did our pictures back in November!! Most of them are great but there are a couple that made the out-takes box but are so funny. Mostly because our 3 year old has a mind of her own and often pulls last minute funny faces or gets an idea and runs with it!!
I love this family picture except when you realize that J is looking at who knows what!!
Kynna got the award for this one with her tongue sticking out!!! But J is looking off again too!!!
A time-out to situate Kynna and J was ready to box with anyone brave enough to take her on
These 2 are my favorite!! We were trying to get Jaylee to smile pretty not her "Cheese" smile so Megan and I told her to show Daddy how to smile and so she did!! It was pretty comical!!!

Horsey ride!! Not a great idea on a rock while holding a baby in your suit too!!!
It was Jaylee's break time and she just wanted to swing
We really do have 2 girls!!! We were trying to get a picture of just Brady and I and Jaylee wouldn't get out of the picture so Aunt Megan took a couple of her with us!!!
I promise I'm not strangling my child though it looks that way!! She was spitting up a little and I was trying to clean it up!!!

Random pictures from December

These are a few random pictures from the last couple of weeks that I haven't blogged!!
I was working on Christmas cards one night and I turned from the desk and this is what I saw. All 3 of them had their nose in the TV!!!
I finally put Kynna's hair in a little pony!! Her hair is crazy like Jaylee's was except she has a little bald spot on the back of her head. And she is constantly rubbing her hair and playing with it!!
Saturday night baths one night. It was just funny to see them chillin' in their towels but little missy was not happy!!!!

MaKynna likes to be where the action is and so that often means putting her on the kitchen floor in her bouncer or car seat. Since then, we've been putting her in the highchair so she can sit with us at the table. One night after dinner, Jaylee went and got books and started "reading" them to MaKynna. It was so sweet and it calmed Kynna down so much while I got her milk ready!!! She is such a sweet big sister when she wants to be!! Jaylee has a really good memory and she memorizes some of her favorite books so then she'll "read" us the stories.

Jaylee LOVES computer time. We let her play on some of the educational websites out there so she's not just messing around but actually learning something!! When school was cancelled last week because everyone else was sick, I let her do a little longer computer session for her "learning" time!!!
MaKynna and her wiggy hair!!!
MaKynna will roll over and over and over until she can't go anywhere else and then when it's nap time she'll just fall asleep where ever she may be. Well she had rolled into the tree last week and got stuck so I pulled her out from under the tree and like a minute later, she was asleep. Jaylee and I laughed at her being in the tree and then falling asleep holding on to a present!!!

Gingerbread houses

On Sunday the 12th, up at Nanny and Poppa's house, the kids made gingerbread houses. It was a super messy project with the 6 kids but fun to watch their creative sides come out. I was helping the boys with their big one so Brady took pictures of the kids!!

When I was young, we made gingerbread castles every year so it was fun to help and see the kids do their houses. I told Brady that I want to start a tradition of caring on one from my childhood with our kids in making gingerbread houses. I think J was more into eating the candy at first until her cousins had stuff to decorate with and she didn't. Then she finally stopped eating the candy and used it for what is was suppose to be used for!!! Decorating!!! So I need your gingerbread recipe Mom so I can do this with my girls!!!
