It's Jaylee's Birthday Party!!

Well we had Jaylee's EVERYONE birthday party last night!! It was a BLAST!! And CRAZY!! And of course Jaylee loved it!! The theme was STARS and at the kids party we had made music videos so all the kids were the STARS!!

They had drove all day and were beat by the time they came in from California!! So he needed a nap before the party!!

Jaylee had a cousin birthday party on her birthday!! It was a slumber party
and the kids had a lot of fun, I hope!!
We sure missed all of the other cousins that weren't there!!

No joke-Jaylee ate 2 and a half pieces for pizza at her party!! She's a good
eater most of the time but never that good!!
I guess playing outside made her REALLY hungry!!

Jaylee's birthday didn't start out so great!! The kids wanted to go play outside right after breakfast, and not ten minutes later, Jaylee had fallen and busted open her lip and had a bloody nose as well. I learned from a good friend that the best way to get it to stop was give them a Popsicle so she was in heaven with that!! In fact when the one was gone she asked for more!!

Brady helped the kids make cards for Jaylee!! It was cute to watch him with all of them!! He's such a wonderful man, husband, dad, uncle!!

With 2 kids helping I guess it could have been worse!!

Since we're having the everyone party on Friday, I didn't want to do cake
twice so we had cookies for the kids party!!

I guess I need to get away from calling her my baby now!! I can't believe that she is 2!! There's a break in her party and so I'm taking a moment to blog!! I love this little girl so much!! She is such a blast and such a blessing in mine and Brady's life!! She always makes us laugh and smile and she always keeps us in line especially when she tells on us!!

My sister-in-law, Megan had posted a website showing how to make these adorable tutu's, and I've been wanting to make a few for Jaylee and my nieces and finally did. We now have Tutu Corner in Jaylee's room. The girls love it!! Jaylee was not feeling well in most of these pics so don't mind her. Lizzi was so cute when she saw them, she squealed in delight!!

Home Depot Kids Craft Day

At Home Depot on the first Saturday of every month, they have a kids craft. Well, Brady had brought Jaylee home her own apron for the craft day, and we got her all excited to go. It was a car race track thing. So we get down there and Jaylee is acting like she owns the place and like she's the ruler of all!! Nothing new!! She sits down at the table to start this craft and the guy running it tells me, "We just ran out of kits." It was like an hour-hour and a half into this 3 hour block and they were already out!! Nice!! Well Jaylee didn't mind I guess as much as I did. She walked out to her Daddy and said bye!! Next time-he better put a hold on one for us!!

We might be friends, someday...

Jaylee went with Steph and I to Snowflake this last weekend. We stayed with our friends the Reidhead's!! Thanks again!! They have a little boy, Teague who is 3. He and Jaylee would get along and then not get along. He's the youngest and she's an only child!! They both act a lot the same!!! He's so adorable!! Anyways, they would play fine and then out of no where they would be fighting over this or that!! It was cute to watch them!!

So we go to church with the Reidhead's. Todd is the Bishop in their ward and we're trying to be good especially since it's Ward Conference. Well for the most part Jaylee and Teague didn't sit by each other. They shared snacks with each other. Well Jaylee gets her gold fish out and Teague wants some. So she takes the bag over like she's going to share with him, and right as he puts his hand close to the bag, she pulls it away and starts laughing. What a TEASE!! Where she learned that one, I have no idea!! She started to do it again and I grabbed the bag from her and gave the poor boy some gold fish. My word what's she going to be like when she's 16 if she's this way before 2???
And then there was the incident over the chair. Teague decided he wanted to sit in Jaylee's chair. She wasn't using it, no big deal. Well the second that he showed an interest in her chair, she was all over it like "NO WAY!!" She crawled up on the chair before he could and as soon as she turned around, he started shaking his fist at her and said... "You make me so mad!! I want to sit in that chair!!" I was proud of him for not hitting her!! He's been well taught!! Way to go Todd and Michelle!!
It was just so funny to watch those 2 together this weekend!! I bet one day they might be real friends, but for now they just do the back and forth thing!!

So my sister, Stephanie and I drove up to Snowflake this last weekend. Jessica had invited us to come see her school play that she was in and the star of. I babysat Jessica when I was in high school and I just love this beautiful young lady. She's more like a niece to me!! Anyways, so we went up for the weekend to see Snowflake High Schools rendition of Oklahoma. Jessica starred as Laurey. She is so talented!! Not only is she athletic, beautiful and an amazing singer, she is also a great actress!! You ROCKED the stage Jess!!
