She's 4!!

Jaylee!! Jaylee!! Jaylee!!
She is going to probably give her Daddy more gray hair then anyone else combined!!
She has always been our little friend finder-she can make friends with anyone, anywhere!  Usually at the park she'll play the Damsel in Distress and we've known that about her for awhile now.  However, yesterday our little Princess took this to the next level!  On our way to church, she proceeds to inform us that she is marrying her best friend, Trent(pictured above)!  She goes on to tell us that she loves him, and likes to hug him and hold his hand, and on and on and on.  Trent and Jaylee are a lot alike in so many ways, and it's nice having a little friend across the street that she enjoys playing with so much, but she's 4!!  So finally Brady and I convince her that she has to wait until she's at least 20 to get married and that until then, they can just be friends.  Well after church, we were at a friends house for their sons baby blessing luncheon, and we see her and one of our friends nephew, up in the tree house KISSING.  And they both kept kissing each other!!  Brady was not happy at all about it, but I seem to think it was pretty innocent especially since she had just proclaimed her love for Trent earlier that morning!  I was under strict instructions that I couldn't tell anyone yesterday that she was kissing a little boy, but now she's okay with it as long as no one says anything to her about it.  I think she was a little embarrassed!!

Jaylee's First Graduation

June 2,2011
Preschool Graduation
We had our little Graduation party today and it was both fun to think about how much each of the kids have grown this year, as well as sad to think that each of them are going a different direction next year!! I'm sure we'll get them together for play-dates and fun little trips. Jaylee was so excited about her Graduation!! We had just a little ceremony and then they went to playing at the greatest park around-Castle Park!! We asked Jaylee what her favorite thing from preschool was and after getting past her friends, we got "The 5 senses song" and then she sang it to us again!! I will have to record her singing it-it's way cute!! I keep telling Jaylee that her summer break is starting tomorrow and she gets all excited but then a few minutes later she'll ask when she goes to preschool so she can see her friends. You think she LOVES her friends?!!

At the end of her first year of school, Jaylee knows all of her letters along with their sounds, how to spell her name, and writes her name along with anything else that someone will help her spell. She knows how to count to 30 and recognizes numbers 1-20 easily. She knows her colors, her favorite right now being Black. She knows most of her shapes. She loves to color fast but given the patience she will color really nice staying in most of the lines. She LOVES to read books and has memorized "The Monster at the End of this Book" so she can read it to us!!! She loves to trace things and is getting pretty good at mazes. She has learned so much and we are so proud of our little Jaylee Bug!! Next year-we'll take on reading!!!

The Outfits of Question

Brady and I 99% of the time agree on what clothes our girls wear, until this outfit came into question. I am not a huge fan of animal print stuff, but this outfit is just cute and ohhhh so fitting!!! My girls are Wild that is for sure, each in their own way!! My mom bought these outfits while we were in Arizona and I thought they were cute and didn't disagree with them but oh man my husband does NOT like them!!! To bad they have already worn them, they are sticking around with these 2 crazy girls!!!

Fit Fare, Park and Other May Adventures

May was a very eventful month around here!! The girls and I came home the day before Mother's Day and it was nice to be home and get a little spoiled!! We've had a couple of really fun Pre-school Field trips, the best being California Pizza Kitchen!! We've gone to a few parties and outings to the park, when the weather would let up for a moment. We went to the Kids Fit Fare and Jaylee got a new bike helmet which she needed since her old one has grown a little to small for her!! Kynna has been eating more and more "real people" food as her Doctor called it, and Jaylee found her ideal role model, A rodeo queen!! She thought she was about the greatest thing ever because not only was she a queen but she gets to ride a horse too!!! It's been a good month, but I can't believe how fast it has flown by!!!

Brady's 40th (yes I said 40) Birthday!!!

Brady's Birthday went a little differently then he had hoped!! We started off by going to every freaking Sports store from Bountiful to Ogden(maybe not all of them but pretty dang close). He wanted to go golfing but the weather wasn't so nice so that didn't happen. We went bowling instead and took our niece Tenley with us. Sad but I didn't get a single picture of Brady by himself his entire Birthday day!!! After bowling, Tenley's parents watched the girls so we could go to Brady's favorite restaurant for dinner. We did that and then went to a couple more Sports stores and called it a night. We did go home and have cake but I managed to forget to get a 4 and a 0 for his candles. I was so not on the ball for his birthday!!! The girls and I had given him his gift before we ever went to Arizona for Easter, so we were at least covered in that department!!! His birthday just kind of snuck up on me and even though I tried to plan a few things I managed to miss the ball. He didn't want a party and he didn't really want anything except to go golfing. I can't control the weather so now we "owe" him a golfing outing!!

I never have teased Brady about being so much older then me, until this birthday!!! So Happy Birthday my dear OLD Hubby!!! I love you so much!!

Family Golf Night

*PRO-GOLFERS BEWARE~you might cringe when you see the way our 4 year old holds her club but she WILL NOT let anyone teach her how to do it (yet)*
Even though it was still a little cold, we decided to brave this hideous weather we have been having and go golfing!! Brady has been dying to take Jaylee out since her birthday in March when she got her first set of real clubs!! We did the little putting course and we all had such a good time with the exception of Kynna who is starting to dislike her stroller more and more!!! She really did a good job most of the time though!!!

This was the 1 time that she let Brady help her

Random pictures from our Arizona Trip

The girls and I were able to spend about a week and a half in Arizona after Easter. We had a great time but sure did miss Brady!!! There were many things going on, and we were able to see Talent Shows, Baseball games, Birthday parties, Basketball Games, lots of time with Cousins, Swimming, Horseback Riding, Pedicures, Campfires with Smores, Aunts and Uncles galore, and a bunch of other fun things!!! We really had a great time and are so glad that we were able to spend a little more time with our Arizona Family!!!
the day we were leaving-poor J was not feeling well!!

Kynna also turned 9 months while we were there

#12 and #12 were our favorite baseball players!!

It got a little cold at the ball games so Grammy and Papa snuggled up with everyone who was cold!!

J got the long awaited Henicorn PillowPet-She was SOOOOO excited!!!

Happy Birthday Aunt Steph!!

Aunt Jenn playing with Kynna between basketball games!!

She learned some new things while we were there-some of them not good either!!!

The almost Twin cousins-They were originally due the same day but one decided to come earlier and the other later then that original date!!
So many of you might not know this but my husband and my oldest brother have the exact same birthday. Kind of funny but was even more ironic was when we were expecting babies the same day!! Kind of a fun little story even if it didn't work out for them to be the same day after all!!

Eli and I

J brushing the horse-she was in heaven

This girl would do this every day if she could!!!

Watching J have a blast!!!

J on the horse-She was so excited that Aunt Jenn's friend took her to ride a horse!! She kept telling us leading up to it that she was going to go ride a horse in the hot desert. Well it was a hot day and defiantly felt like we were in the Hot Desert!!! When asked if she was having a good time, Jaylee's response was "It's a Perfect Day!!"

The New T-R-O-U-B-L-E
It was a little chilly to go swimming even though it was 80+ weather

My very sick little girl just before getting on the plane to come home. Fun little thing I found out the day I was flying home-if you need help they'll let someone come through and help you out!! J had gone to bed the night before coming home feeling a little warm but she had been out in the sun all day and I just brushed it off thinking maybe she got a little burned. Well no such luck-she was running a fever!! She woke up crying in the middle of the night and I knew I was in trouble. I had forgotten the stroller when we came down, so I was already having to carry Kynna in her car seat while watching J, but J didn't want anything to do with walking and when I was checking in at curbside, I almost lost it and started to cry. How in the heck was I going to carry my baby in her seat, along with my diaper bag and now my 4 year old? So needless to say when the man at the check-in asked if I needed some help and told me that my mom could come with me to the gate, I was beyond THRILLED!!!! Mom found some Children's Tylenol and no joke J was perfect after that kicked in!! She was great the entire flight and would even help me with Kynna!!!! Thank you medicine!!!! And Thank you MOM!!!!
It reminded me of a time not very long ago when you could say goodbye to your loved ones at the gate!! How I miss those times in a way, but I hate goodbyes and since not being able to go to the gate I tend to cry a little less when having to say goodbye!!!
We had such a blast in Arizona and look forward(yes already) to Christmas in Arizona this year!!! Lucky for me, I will remember the stroller and I will have my dear husband with me on the way down as well as the return flight!!!!
