On June 23rd, we went to Layton's Surf N' Swim for the city party thing. We had a great dinner, except the kids didn't like it since it was a little spicy, and then we went swimming!! Jaylee and I got out for a moment so she would chill for a moment, but it was pretty cold. I snapped a couple of pictures while she was chillin. She gets a little intense at times and doesn't listen and it's best just to remove her for a moment. We were only out of the pool for like maybe 3 min. but it was all she needed. We had a good time, but wished Brady could have been there with us. He came after he got off work, but we were getting ready to get out of the pool by then anyway.

Surf N' Swim
Where did she learn that?
So Jaylee is often given the job to set the table for dinner and such. She does a pretty good job, usually forgetting one thing. Well on Father's Day I asked her to help me out and set the table. She decided that we needed forks, spoons, and knives along with our plates and cups. So she starts setting everyone's place, and she was doing it right with the exception of the way the knife blade was pointing. I had no idea that she even knew where it all went. We talk about it and where stuff goes but usually we don't use all 3 utensils at every meal. But she did a great job!!
Father's Day 2010
Father's Day was pretty laid back this year. We had taken Mike and Shirley (Brady's parents) to the airport that morning and then we gave Brady his gift, made breakfast for him and went to church. We didn't do anything huge, mostly because I'm so tired all the time and didn't want to stress about doing anything big. I kept it easy!! On Saturday, Jaylee and I had gone shopping for some kind of gift. We found this gift that Brady has really wanted, and she informed me that her Daddy wasn't going to love it. However when we were bringing it in to give it to him, she was so excited and wanted to play with it too. It's a golf push cart thing. And he was so excited!! And he does LOVE it!!

June 14th
These two are such good girls and for whatever reason when they get together, they tend to get into trouble. Tenley and Jaylee are the ones who ran away together a few weeks ago. Well Marlee had a class and I was watching Tenley and Pacey for her. The girls had been in the toy room playing very nicely together, and I didn't hear them for a few minutes. So I go up to check on them and they were in the bathroom in my make-up. They didn't get it on anything but themselves, and while I was making sure, I made them sit against the wall, and then I made them take some pictures. I knew I would get over the initial anger of them doing something so naughty especially since the mascara was brand new, I had just opened it the day before while getting ready for church, and I would want to blog about it. I laugh at the pictures now, especially the next one where they look like orphans!! I put them in the bath and Nanny and Poppa came home just a couple minutes later, so I let Nanny take care of them for a little while.
Lagoon...
On June 10th, we went to Lagoon for the day. Jaylee has never been, however, we showed her their website and she was able to catch a couple of commercials of what Lagoon was all about. The weather was perfect!! It did hail for a moment while we were out having lunch, but it only lasted a few minutes. It rained a little but it was enough to cool off the day enough for this pregnant lady to have a good time. Of course I didn't ride anything but the train, but it was fun to see Jaylee in ride-heaven!! She LOVED it and asks daily if we are going back to "Agoon" today. There are a BUNCH of pictures from this outing, but there are some fun ones of the kids having a good time!!
You can see Brady and JBJ since they put the little girls on the wrong side for pictures
