With Jaylee graduating from Preschool, she received a package from her Grammy and Papa in Arizona as a congrats gift. She LOVED the little outfit that she got. She also had managed to talk her Uncle Eric into buying her a pony while we were in Arizona and when he didn't get it before we left, she would tell me how he's not so great anymore and such, so he sent her one in the mail and suddenly he was on her good list!!! She LOVES getting the mail and finding something with her name on it!! And Kynna just LOVES everything that Jaylee does!!!

Pioneer Days
A few days before the 24th of July, they have the parade floats on display down in Salt Lake, so on Brady's day off, we took the girls down to see them. We had explained to Jaylee about the Pioneers and why we celebrate this day, so she decided that she needed to dress like a cowgirl since the pioneers rode horses. She is so funny and has her own since of style!! It was a lot of fun and they had a lot of fun activities for the kids!!! We will probably make it a new tradition!!!
| This was Jaylee's favorite float and it ended up winning the theme award!! |
One of the floats had this little turtle that they let the kids take a ride on. Jaylee loved it but since they didn't have a horse on the float, it wasn't her favorite!!
Kynna liked this doggy
Then on Monday the 25th, we decided to take the girls to the Ogden Days of 47 Parade. It was pretty hot sitting out there, but it was fun to see J so excited, especially when the horses would go by!! She's a little obsessed with horses!!
Nanny's Birthday Dinner
For Shirley's Birthday dinner, we went to Chili's!! Most of the kids were there as well. It was nice to get together and celebrate her special day and of course it's always nice not to have to cook!!!!
Smore's in the City...
Jaylee had been begging us for awhile to have smores so at the store one day she grabbed all the stuff for them and begged her daddy to have them. Of course he gave in to her and we decided that since we live in the city and don't have a fire pit so we pulled the BBQ grills off and used the flame from it to roast our marshmallows. They turned out great and we really had a good time doing it. Then Jaylee showed us how great she is getting at riding her bike up and down the hill in front of our home!!
4th of July
For the 4th of July, we met up with Brady's family up at Snowbird. We went up Sunday and spent the night up there, and then played most of the day on Monday. Brady was off work for the 4th so it was nice to go up there. Brady's family grew up going to Snowbird like every year. I've heard all about how fun it is to go up there so it was nice to experience it for myself.

On the 4th, we drove down to a park in Murray that was having a carnival thing. The kids had a blast!! Jaylee just loved the little climbing slide thing!!

We went home just after dinner and got a couple of pictures of the girls together in their dresses. We then put Kynna to bed and went outside to watch the fireworks. It's so nice to be able to watch them from our front yard. And it was fun to see J actually excited for them for once. She kept asking us if she could go see them this year. It was fun to hear her excitement!!!
