My parents had planned to come up for Kynna's party, however my Dad was not feeling well so they came a few days later and spent a week with us. It was nice to visit with them and let the girls get to know their grandparents better. Ever since Jaylee was just little, she has called Grammy, Bye-bye, until now. This trip she decided that Grammy was now Gram or Gram-Gram!! She loves to come up with her own names for people!! I have tried so many times to get her to call my dad, Grandpa but she insist that his name is Papa, or the Papa with the Grammy when she's trying to keep the 2 separate!!. She calls Grammy and Papa all the time just to chat, and she really enjoys spending time with them. Grammy LOVES to read and she loves to read to Jaylee while she is visiting. It's a nice break for me since I'm always the one that is brought the books to read to her.
Saying good-bye!! Such a sad day for me!! I could have spent another week with them and been totally happy!!!! Kynna was fine to say bye, however Jaylee was not. She wouldn't come outside but finally did when I told her they were just going to leave and she wouldn't be able to say bye.
According to Jaylee-she wanted Gram and Papa to stay forever!! She kind of likes them!!!
It was nice to visit with my parents as always!! We do wish it had been longer but we look forward to Christmas now!!!
