Boondocks take 2

Thursday August 12th
While Brittany was here, we also all met up for a fun outing to Boondocks. Since MaKynna and I were the only ones not really doing anything, we were able to get some fun pictures of the rest of the gang. They were having some kind of special that if you bought the adult unlimited pass you got the kid one for free, so it was cheaper to do that for everyone then buy the passes for each individual attraction. While we were golfing, Brady and I suddenly found ourselves childless. His sisters took the girls and let us play golf alone, like a real date. It was so fun and very much needed!!! Oh how I miss date-night!! Once MaKynna is a little bigger we'll get back into them. She's just so little to leave with anyone and especially a teenage girl. Anyways, back to Boondocks!! It was fun and pretty warm, but everyone had a good time!!

Again I don't see Mckay in any of the pictures. I know he rode at least the bumper boats with everyone but I must have missed him. Sorry Tubby!!

Castle Park with Friends

Wednesday August 11th
Our friend Kathy was in town from Oregon and we all got together with the kids at our favorite park, Castle Park. There were like 13 kids with the 4 of us Moms that were able to make it. It was funny, we thought the kids will love to play at the park and we can just hang out and talk, but most of the kids sat right there with their moms. We just laughed and told them that next time we'll just go out and leave them all at home unless they go and play!! It was nice to visit with Kathy, since we only get to see her and her kids like once a year. And it's really fun to see all the kids that are so close in age together!!

Jaylee got a big girl booster seat like a month or so ago and I swear she falls asleep in it more then she ever did her carseat!! She thinks she's so big now and even got moved to the big girl side of the van, even though that was a bit of a fight with her. She wanted to stay on the other side, but we felt it was a better idea to put MaKynna on the passenger side. She's fine with it now though!!

Nanny's Birthday

July 14th
Nanny's Birthday dinner at Chile's. We had a nice time and it was fun to see all the kids sing Happy Birthday to her. She's totally spoiled by Mike but it's cute to watch them and listen to them act all surprised by what they got!!

I loved how they coordinated their outfits so they were all matchy-matchy!!

4th of July

I've really been bad about blogging when I realized I hadn't even posted about the 4th of July. We went to the Neighborhood Breakfast, and then went to the Layton Parade. But really that's about all that we did. Jaylee got a TON of taffy from the Parade and she LOVES the stuff. We still have a little left and she eats it all the time and shares it with her new buddy Trent. I can't stand Taffy, and Brady doesn't care for it either but Jaylee LOVES it!!

Snow Cones were the summer favorite

I like snow cones, but they are not my favorite!! And never would I want them all the time or days in a row!! However Brady and Jaylee have been on this snow cone obsession thing this summer and it's driving me NUTS!! Their favorite place was the one out in front of the Rite Aide but then one day I decided I wanted something cold since I would never get ice cream or anything every time they got one, and I made them try this place down the road on 200 N. and it's even better!! We haven't had a craving in over a week so here's hoping the fad is over with these 2!!

I'm not sure which is worse with wanting them-The Daddy or the 3 year old!!

But they sure do LOVE them!!

And if you let her get the biggest one, she'd eat every last drop of that thing!! Her favorite flavor is Cherry and Daddy's is Tiger's Blood!!

Tony's Pizza and Farr's Ice Cream

Tuesday August 10th
Brady's sister Brittany was in town for a week, and one place she requested to go was Tony's Pizza in Ogden. Their family has been going there since Mike and Shirley were dating so it's a fun memory place for them. The Pizza is YUMMY but it's more the memories for their family. It was a lot of fun!! Well I had seen a Farr's Ice Cream sign around the corner on our way in, so I made the suggestion to go have some ice cream and everyone agreed!! These are pictures of the Ice Cream part of the evening!!

Jaylee picked out this nasty flavor and I didn't think she would like it but she ate the entire thing!! It was gross!!
