Christmas in Pictures...

Christmas Morning was a blast!! Jaylee was so fun this year and loved opening presents!!
We had a great Christmas!!

This little blanket from Nanny and Poppa is adorable!! It's for her baby and it has a matching burp cloth as well!!
This is the gift that Jaylee kept throwing aside and would not open it all morning. It wasn't until Brady sat her down with it that she finally opened it!! It was funny!!

Jaylee got Daddy this tool set he has had his eye on for awhile!!
Jaylee loves pushing around her little Stroller from Nanny and Poppa!!
Thanks everyone for all the fun gifts!!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was the beginning of the end!! We knew once we let Jaylee open a gift she'd want to open all of them. She opened her nammers with Daddy and then she was ready for more. We did give in though and let her open just one more!!

Daddy and Jaylee had a race to see who could open their Christmas Eve gifts first!!
Jaylee had to put on her slippers and start reading to everyone, including her baby!!

Thank you Grandma Shawn for the books and slippers!!

Jaylee's Christmas Dress

I bought this dress right after Christmas when I was pregnant. I thought she might be able to wear it the first year, but she's so petite that it would have drowned her, but it worked out great for this year. I found some ribbon to match for her bows, of course!! Her baby had to be in the pictures too!! I guess I should have found a dress with the matching baby dress for her instead!!

Writing her Christmas Cards...

So I've decided that I am no longer sending Christmas Cards in December. I am going to start a new tradition of sending our family cards to everyone in like August. It's just one more thing to add to the craziness of the holidays and I'm not going to stress myself out with it. And Brady agreed to it!! However, I did tell Jaylee she needed to make a couple cards for her Great Papa and GiGi along with her Aunts and Uncles in Utah. So this is her colorful way of writing Christmas Cards!! I think her favorite color now is Red!! It's the one color she knows on her own!!

Thanksgiving at Aunt Say's

For Thanksgiving, we drove up with my sister Stephanie's family to Snowflake to spend Thanksgiving with our other sister, Sarah. Aunt Say was a great host and thanks for everything!! We had some good times and some even better times!!
What Jaylee would look like if she still had black hair like she did when she was born!! Aunt Say has a big tub of wigs, scarfs, and other fun dress up stuff that the girls played in while we were up there. We laughed so hard at Jaylee and she was fine with wearing this for awhile the first time!!

Nikki, Jaylee, and Lizzi in the back of Uncle Dee's truck on our way out to go shooting!! Don't mind the messy face on Jaylee!!
Brady trying to look like a tough guy!! I LOVE this Man!!
Look!! He almost got the center of the target!!
Jaylee and Lizzi-the girls mostly played down the hill in a big field while we shot guns. Don't worry one of us was with them and watching them the entire time!!
Uncle Jason showing us how he thinks it should be done!!
So I had the hardest time pulling the trigger on the riffle!! Don't ask me what my problem was!! The pistol was a different story though!!
Aunt Steph showing us her mad skillz!!
Brady was the shocker one of the day-for a guy who wasn't to excited to go shoot guns, he really did enjoy it once we were out there!!
McKenzie Reidhead-She has turned into such a beautiful young lady!!
Love you Kenz!!
Teague Reidhead-This little guy and Jaylee didn't really like to share with each other!! We went over and had dinner with the Reidhead's at China Plaza!! YUM!!
Time to punch down the Dough!!
Jaylee decided snack time was over for everyone!!
Olive Fingers!!
Jaylee enjoying her Thanksgiving feast!! Aunt Say only has a tall table with bar-stool like chairs, so Jaylee's seat was on the floor so she wouldn't fall off!!
Aunt Say picked up some ornaments for the girls to paint for an activity. Jaylee loved it!!

Christmas Tree Skirt

So when I was a little girl, as we would put up the tree every year, I would put on our Tree Skirt and help out until it was time to put in around the tree. So we were pulling things out to decorate this year for Christmas and the next thing I know, Jaylee was trying to put the skirt around here. So I helped her out a little since that's all she would let me, and put it on her. It was so funny to watch her!! She ended up on the floor wrapped up in it after pranching around for a few moments. It was cute!!

4 hours and counting

Happy New Year to all!! It's only 4 hours until 2009!! Party!! I'm at my brothers house and have some time until the real party begins so I'm on the computer of course!! Our Christmas was a blast!! Jaylee is getting to be so big and so expressive!! She got some really cool gifts for Christmas!! Thank you to everyone who gave her gifts!! She loves them!! She is such a little lady!! It's fun but we think Brady is starting to feel a little out of the loop since he's a boy!! Some day Brady you'll have a little boy!! We still love you tons and tons!! My parents are out from California so once again we celebrated Christmas last night, and now tonight New Year's!! What better partying can you do!! Anyways, all is well with us and yes we are alive and kicking!! We are just keeping busy and trying to keep up with our J-Bug!!
