We're Having a...

GIRL!!

We found out on Wednesday the 24th that our little baby is a little princess!! It was so weird because Brady and I both thought that this baby was a boy. This pregnancy has been totally different with this baby then it was with Jaylee, so we were convinced it was a boy. The last couple of weeks before we found out, I kind of wondered if it was a girl because all the dreams I would have about this baby and finding out, were that it was a girl. We are super excited none the less though!! And even Jaylee seems to be a little excited to have a girl. It was so cute when the doctor told us it was a girl, Jaylee shouted "YEAH" and started clapping. She's maybe getting use to the idea of having a baby coming to our family. Not sure how she'll handle things when we actually have her and bring her home, but for now she's taking steps to accepting the fact that we are having a new baby.

Through the last 3 years...

It's so hard to believe that our little Jaylee-Bug is now 3!! She started out as a little Black hair baby and now has beautiful long blonde hair!! She was such a good baby and now she's a 3 year old with a personality all her own and is so stubborn and determined and opinionated that it's just crazy to even remember that she was once this little precious baby that was so good and so well behaved!! But even with her opinions and stubbornness, she has brought so much joy and love to our little family, we can't imagine our lives without her!!

A few things about Jaylee...
She can count to 10 very well and knows a few of the numbers 11-20 but she calls twenty "twenty-teen".
She sings the ABC song all the time leaving out letters k-o all the time.
She loves to sing, especially twinkle twinkle right now which she does LOUDLY during Sacrament meeting!!
She weighs 27lbs and is 36 inches tall now.
She LOVES to watch TV or movies and would if we let her all day long.
Cousins are everything to her, even some of our little friends are now cousins since she loves them so much.
She's finally warming up to the idea of having a baby around.
She will NOT use the potty no matter what the bribe!!
She talks all the time and doesn't know how to whisper!!
She's all girl but all boyish at the same time-she loves to have her fingers painted and wear pretty dresses but then she loves to play with cars and balls at the same time.
She tells people her name so fast that is sounds like she's saying one very long name since she tells everyone she is Jaylee Carol Bowuhuis.
She is really a nudest at heart and would run around naked all the time if she could get away with it.
She loves to tell us stories.
She comes up with some pretty funny ideas.
She is all about winning in everything.
When she wants to be funny, she'll give everyone kisses on the foot or leg when it's time for bed.

I could go on and on about this little princess, but we'd be here for days!! She is such a joy to our family and we love her so much!! Crazy, Loud, Nude whatever she comes up with for the day, we wouldn't change her a bit!! We love being your Mommy and Daddy!!

She got this super cute outfit from our dear friend, Courtney, also that it won't let me post!! But thank you to everyone for ALL of her gifts!! We love you little Jaylee Bug and are glad you had a super 3rd birthday!!

Jaylee's Birthday Party...

On Friday the 19th, we had Jaylee's birthday party at Chuck E Cheese's!! Jaylee LOVED her birthday party and still talks about it and how we need to go back!!

And at the end of the night, she still didn't want to take her crown off!!

I'm almost there...

I did a bunch of blogging this morning and I am almost caught up!! I still need to do Jaylee's birthday weekend and then today I'll add info. about our newest little baby!! So maybe after 1 more day of blogging I'll get caught up and stay that way!! Catching up is a pain in the rear!!

Cupcakes with 3 little girls

Since Megan was in the hospital having her new baby, we got to watch Hudson and Harper most of the day Friday and into Saturday morning. I knew they would need something to do so I waited to make the cupcakes for Jaylee's birthday party until they got there. The 3 of them had a good time and love to help!! We were wishing we had Tenley with us too!!

Licking the bowl after all the cupcakes were in the oven. Hudson and Harper kept asking to do this since we started. Poor Jaylee has never had this experience and she didn't like it anyway so I don't feel to bad.

It was so much fun to watch the little girls and see how different they are!! Jaylee had a mess of candy sprinkles all over her place. She didn't touch her cupcake, not even a nibble out of it!! Hudson had a mess of crumbs from eating her cupcake. She was the only one that ate all of her cupcake. And Harper's place was the cleanest since she would lick the mess she had on the counter!! It was so funny!! She only ate about half of her cupcake!!

After cupcakes, it was time for a bath since they had chocolate all over them!!
