Jaylee turns the Big 1!!!

I can't believe that my little girl is one!! Wow!! Where did the year go!!! We had a little party for her at our house with family and a few close friends. It was so much fun to watch her enjoy the attention!! And boy oh boy does she LOVE cake!! The pictures can't tell you at all right!! Jaylee's Aunt Kim's was a couple days before her's so, we made a cake for her and got a picture of the birthday girls!! Jaylee just loves little kids and especially boys, so she was totally in her element. One of the little guys, Jase, is stealing some of her cake. Everything turned out great!! It was a great day!! Grammy and Papa came in from California so Jaylee had all her grandparents there!!

Happy 1st Birthday Adalin Meri Leavitt!!

Today is Jaylee's Almost twin Birthday. Adalin is my friend Kathy's little girl, that we only get to see like once a year since they live in Oregon. This was last August when they were visiting for a few days. We had to get pictures of the girls together, and as we were snapping pictures Adalin got a hold of Jaylee's hand. It was way cute!! We look forward to seeing her in July when they are visiting again. Happy 1st Birthday Adalin!!

Jaylee's First St Patrick's Day

Jaylee's first St. Patrick's Day wasn't anything special. Courtney got her this shirt and I'm not sure who was more excited, Courtney or Brady. Brady loves anything that says any form of the word "DAD". She sported the green very well though.

I can't believe that in just a few short days she will be 1!! It's fun to watch her grow and see her eyes as she discovers something new she can do!!

Jaylee is moving more and more everyday. We have a hard time keeping her out of things now!! She loves to pull herself up to everything now but she hasn't learned the art of getting down on her own very well.

She's into this cheeser smile now when she sees the light from the camera!!

Uncle Jason would be so proud...

The other day, Jaylee and I were at Wal-mart getting a few things and since Brady wasn't with us we took our time and looked at EVERYTHING!! So we got looking through the toys(by the way the Syracuse Wal-mart has tons of clearance toys right now) and found this little laptop on clearance and had to get it for her. She was such a good sport and was so dang cute in the store talking to everyone who went by. Well we get it home and open it up and she loves the thing. It makes all kinds of fun sounds and the first thing my mom says to me is that, Uncle Jason would be so proud. I'm sure she's right too!! So Uncle Jason, this ones for you!!!

She always puts the top down on her fingers and since she has all her weight on it to, she tends to catch them often. I'm sure someday she'll catch on that it hurts her when she does that!!

Jaylee Helping with the Laundry...

Jaylee decided that she was a big girl and could help with the Laundry.

She had pulled herself up to the basket and proceeded to pull all of her clean clothes out and put them all over the floor. If she wasn't so dang cute, the girl would be in trouble all of the time. She gets into everything and loves to pull things out of whatever they happen to be in. I even made her a toy with scarfs and other pieces of material so she'd stay out of everything else. Well she loves the toy but it doesn't keep her out of other "fun" things.
