Jaylee's New favorite things...

1. Merry-Go-Rounds
Brady ended up getting off early on his birthday, so we decided to go out to dinner at The Pizza Factory(they have one in St. George that we went to on our Honeymoon and fell in love with) We were so excited to learn they had built one in Ogden at the Junction. So after pizza we walked into Fat Cats next door to goof around. Well we put Jaylee on this little Merry-Go-Round thing and she loved it!! In fact after we had used all of the tokens for this ride, she threw a fit about having to get off of it!!

I just love how she demands the attention of everyone around her, like she knows she's the princess or something!!
Oh don't mind the seat belt. It was broken and I wasn't about to let her go without one after she had tried to crawl out of the shopping cart the other day and almost got onto the counter before I noticed her!! Anyways, so I just tied the thing in a knot!!

2. TUTU's
So any of you who really know me, know that I'm not really in to the sewing scene, but that has changed. I got this sewing machine that works great from a lady in my ward. Well my mom taught me a little when I was younger but I always wanted to do other "fun" things so I didn't pay that much attention. Well now that I have this adorable little girl, I have cool things I want to do for her. So for her birthday, I wanted to have this done but I didn't want to do it by hand, so my mom helped me make a quick tutu for her highchair. So the other day, after getting my sewing machine back from having it cleaned and looked at just to make sure, I pulled out all the stuff to make this, and I must say for a first sewing project or any project for that matter, it really turned out cute!! I got ribbon to match the one around the top of the skirt to make hair things, but I haven't finished them yet. It's a little to big right now which is good because when she's ready to really play with it, it will fit perfectly!!

3. Summertime and Summer Clothes

My other sewing project, a little dress for Jaylee. I just wish I had made the straps a little longer so that the bows can be seen more. I'm still learning though!!

4. Fake Cries

Jaylee's latest talent has been her fake crying!! It's so funny to see her trying her best to convence everyone that she is really sad. It just makes us laugh!!
5. Signing Time

Jaylee is really starting to pick up on signing. She has been asking for Signing Time almost daily now which is great because she's learning more. She can now sign: milk, more, cheese, yes, book, read, dog, cat, baby, bath, ball, wash, eat, and water without any problems. I'm so excited for this!! I tried making a little video of her doing some of the signs but she wasn't very helpful. She just wanted to play with her ball and drink her milk!!

Happy Birthday Daddy!!(Brady)

Happy Birthday Brady!!
Since Brady's birthday falls on Memorial Day this year, we decided to celebrate a few days early since he has to work. Usually it's a big selling day for them but with it being so stormy outside I doubt it will be. These are the table decorations for his birthday. Of course I left them up for his real birthday too!!

So Thursday the 22nd we went to Salt Lake on the new Front Runner. It was lots of fun and we even had some company join us. Brenn and Jared ride the Front Runner to work so we sat with them and talked. Mostly the guys talked while I talked with Jaylee and she drank her milk.

We took it down to Salt Lake Central where we then got on TRAX . We took that to Courthouse and then walked a half block to...

Little America for Breakfast!!

We love their breakfast!! We went a couple years ago on Brady's birthday and even had the same waitress, but this time we had our Bug with us too!!

She Loved it too!!

Since our waitress knew it was Brady's Birthday, she brought him out this yummy cake(Kim you would have LOVED it) It was so rich we needed milk to eat anymore of it!! We then sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Brady and Jaylee just pointed her toes and clapped in excitement!!

Then we got back on Trax and went to the Gateway. We walked around for awhile and then went to see a movie at Megaplex.

We saw...

THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: PRINCE CASPIAN

We then got back on Front Runner and went back to...

Clearfield

Once home, we let Brady open all his presents except the one that hadn't come in the mail yet. Originally we were going to go to the Zoo but because it was rainy and cold we decided we'd wait for another day. This first pic was some hats that would have been used for a photo opt at the zoo.

Brady's so far favorite present!!

Then we were off again, this time heading more north to Ogden. We went to dinner at Brady's favorite restaurant, Utah Noodle and then we went out for ice cream...

Jaylee is showing off her mad skills of drinking through a straw!!

Well we were just going to get Ice cream at Farr's and head home but we ended up sitting in the parking lot of Farr's to eat it since Brady got Jaylee her own Ice Cream cone. I have never seen that girl eat anything so fast or so neat. Yes she got it on her face and hands a little but she didn't drop any of it on her car seat. And she ate the entire thing, cone and all!! She would have even ate the paper but Brady was quick enough to get it pulled away before that.

She was so hyper after eating this and then she crashed while Brady was in a card shop.

We Love you Daddy(Brady) and hope you had a great celebration Day!! And we hope you have a great Birthday today even though you have to work!!!

Happy Birthday to you!!

So we have 4 yes 4 birthday's today!!

First is my brother Eric(Uncle Eric to Jaylee)These are pics of Eric and Jaylee last July when she was blessed. Eric came up for the blessing.

Then it's also my friend Lisa's birthday. We went to JR high school together and we still keep in touch today!!

Lisa is the other blonde in the middle. The other two are Lacey next to me and Devin on the other side of Lisa.

And then it's Spencer's 8th birthday today!! Happy Birthday Bud!! He was our neighbor but moved so now we only get to see him when we have dinner and game nights (which we need to plan one soon Cyndi)!!

And of course Brady who gets his own post!! We kind of like him most!!

We Hope you guys have a great Birthday!! And Save some cake for us!!

Congrats Jordan...

So I got this invitation the other day in the mail and it brought back so many memories of the times I spent watching this young man. I can't believe that he is graduating tonight and then in a couple weeks leaving for a mission to the Philippines. I am so proud of him and the choices that he has made!! Way to go Jordan!!
This is the Reidhead family. I met them about 13 years ago. Michelle was one of my young women leaders and I started babysitting her kids. After the first few times of watching them, I was hooked!! I love this family!! Jordan is the young man on the right!!

The Neighborhood boys would get together for WWF take downs across the street from me and of course I had to capture the moment. Jordan is the one on the back row without a shirt on!!

Playing games at my house. Jordan is laying across my lap!! Does he ever wear shirts??

After my graduation trip, obviously to Disneyland. I had to bring something home for these kids. Jordan is on the Right in the blue Goofy hat.

The Sucker kings!! Jordan is in the white shirt on the Right!!
