A Day at the Zoo...

We have had quite the day!! We decided since we never went to the zoo back in May like we were going to for Brady's Birthday(it was raining that day), that we were going to before we moved for sure!! So we got up early and headed to Salt Lake to Hogle Zoo. We had a good time and Jaylee really seemed to enjoy it. Her favorite was for sure the Carousel and for the animals I would have to say the Bears. The Bears and the Penguins were the only ones that were doing more then just eating or sleeping. They were actually playing. We were pretty quick since it was getting hot fast and we knew the animals would be even less entertaining. Afterwards we went out for Central American food like from what Brady ate while he was on his mission. It was okay but not my favorite, but we tried it for Brady!! Then it was back home for more packing!! It has been a nice day and I'm glad we finally got to go to the Zoo!!

With us leaving in a few days along with Brady's Brother, Brenn and his wife, we had a little Bouwhuis family dinner and park outing. We all met at the park with our dinners and ate on blankets, then it was time to play some volleyball. Brady and I immediately thought back to our single days when we would go and play at Barnes park every week with friends. It was a lot of fun to play volleyball, it's been awhile!!

Then after 2 games of volleyball, and the kids playing on the playground and feeding the ducks, everyone went over to a field and played kickball. Nanny and I were put on baby duty while everyone else played. It was quite entertaining that's for sure!! Nanny kept most of the kidlets entertained with bubbles!! It was a nice evening before we all go off our separate ways!!

Helping Make a Mess...

With all of the craziness of getting things ready to be moved, I think Jaylee is starting to get the wrong idea. I had gone into the other room for maybe 5 min and when I got back she had pulled out her toys, her books and the stuff that was sitting on the couch(mostly the newspaper)!! And when I said something to her about the mess she had made, she just kept drinking her milk and watching Signing Time!! She is getting into EVERYTHING!!

Happy 3rd Birthday KB!!

Our KB Bear turned 3 today so we had a little Happy Birthday moment with her!!

Otter Pops

Jaylee has been introduced to the world of Otter Pops and she loves them!! She enjoyed sharing one with me and then when Brady got home from work and pulled one out, he was her new BFF. She crawled up to him and he shared with her!! Of course he's nicer then I am since he gave her one for herself. I think the coldness on her gums that are trying hard to bring those top teeth in, felt really good to her since she would just chew on the wrapper!!

Jaylee's latest love is playing in the cupboards!! She will pull everything out of them and then crawl in!! It's so funny to see and it just makes me laugh everytime!! I don't think she liked the fact that I got a picture of her doing this in this first picture!! But I just couldn't help myself!!
I bet if it were a little bigger, she'd shut the door and really hang out in there for awhile!!
